AIMS
The Encyclopedia of Law & Economics attempts to provide a survey of the whole law & economics literature, with a total number of pages of approximately 3,000.
Each entry contains two elements: a review of the literature, written by an authority in the field, followed a quasi complete bibliography (not just a selection).
PUBLICATION FORM
The Encyclopedia will be published simultaneously in both electronic and printed form. In printed form, it will be published as a 5-volume set by Edward Elgar. The entire Encyclopedia will also be published on the internet (financed by the University of Ghent). Therefore, we believe the encyclopedia may become one of the most frequently consulted sources on law & economics.
